Can you bring back a hedge that has gone woody at the base?

Sometimes, depending on the species and how far gone it is. Some plants will shoot from old wood and some will not. We will give you an honest read at the quote rather than cutting it hard and hoping.

Do you take the clippings?

Yes — everything gets chipped and taken away, and the site is left clean.

Do you do body corporate and commercial hedges?

Yes, and a large share of our work is already body corporate and property management. We can set it up as a recurring maintenance job so it happens on schedule without anyone having to chase it.

Hedges, screens and boundary planting

Left alone, a hedge thickens at the top, shades out its own base and goes bare and woody underneath — and once that happens it does not come back quickly. Trimming on a regular cycle keeps light on the lower growth and keeps the hedge dense the whole way down. We work anything from a low boundary hedge to mature screening well above fence height.
