We would rather keep the tree if keeping it works
The quickest way to make money in this trade is to remove everything you are asked to remove. We do not work that way. If a prune solves the problem we will tell you, and if a tree has been condemned by somebody else and we think it is sound, we will say that too. It is also why we will not top a tree at gutter height no matter how often we are asked — it damages the tree and creates a worse problem in two years.
