Tree Lopping Caboolture

Caboolture is the top of our patch and one of the busiest parts of it. The mix of established town blocks, newer estates and semi-rural acreage on the fringe means we are doing quite different work within a few streets of each other.

Older parts of Caboolture sit on generous blocks with mature trees planted decades ago, while the newer estates out towards the highway have smaller lots and younger street plantings. On the acreage fringe the job changes again — bigger trees, more of them, and room to work.

Tree work in Caboolture

Large eucalypts dominate, particularly on the older and semi-rural blocks, along with the usual mix of jacarandas, poincianas and self-sown camphor laurel. The gums are what we are called about most, generally because a limb has come down or one is leaning over a shed.

What we do in Caboolture:

Crane set up on a Brisbane residential street for a large tree removal

Caboolture at a glance

Your council

Caboolture is in the Moreton Bay Council area. Moreton Bay applies its Environmental Areas Overlay across a good deal of the Caboolture area, and habitat trees — natives over 800mm through the trunk — are protected wherever they stand.

Access

Access is usually better here than in the inner suburbs — most blocks will take a truck and chipper, and acreage sites will take the crane without difficulty. The constraint is more often what is underneath the tree than getting to it.

Where it sits

Caboolture is in the northern end of the corridor, well inside the area we cover every week.

Moreton Bay applies its Environmental Areas Overlay across a good deal of the Caboolture area, and habitat trees — natives over 800mm through the trunk — are protected wherever they stand. • It depends on the tree, what sits underneath it and how we can get to it — and in Caboolture that last one does a lot of the work. Access is usually better here than in the inner suburbs — most blocks will take a truck and chipper, and acreage sites will take the crane without difficulty. The constraint is more often what is underneath the tree than getting to it. That is why we quote on site rather than over the phone. Quotes are free and there is no obligation.
