Today we had Caleb and the team at our house in The Gap to remove and grind a large fig tree plus prune / trim (garden haircut) multiple trees around our house. From the initial meeting and quote to todays work as stated above in what was poor weather conditions - the service / works and communication and pricing by Caleb (and Denise) and the team has been outstanding. Caleb and his YLTG team really saved our bacon after a large scribble gum fell across our front yard and house during ex-cyclone Alfred. The tree caused a domino effect taking out every other tree and shrub in its way - pandanus, massive golden cane, hedges etc etc - creating layers of debris. We couldn't access our front gate for 2 weeks. I had them clear the 25 metre fallen tree and another similar sized standing gum of the same variety in a difficult position on the same day. Communication before and during was excellent, the removal was expertly executed, safe and precise (required a crane to lift the tree in massive sections over and out of the yard, careful traffic control), pricing was reasonable and the whole team were polite and efficient. The garden was left in a very neat and tidy state and they even managed to preserve some of the smaller plants that had survived underneath. I highly recommend them. Caleb and his team, from engagement through to completion was nothing short of professional. Caleb was very thorough and honest in his communication - which was particularly important as this removal required an extensive lead time to complete permits, approvals and mobilisation - and transparent with his pricing. Caleb did an outstanding job preparing road closures, traffic control, crane, climbers/ground crew and the delicate and safe removal of a massive ironbark tree in it’s entirety, spanning over powerlines and houses. I cannot highly recommend Caleb and his team enough - he is a true professional and expert in his trade and we could not be happier with the experience and end result!

Caleb and his team were extremely professional, efficient, and brought the right machinery. They were punctual and got the (BIG) job done on time, and always with a smile. They took care to check for any wildlife, even large insects, to ensure none were harmed. Cleaned up really well afterwards too. I would highly recommend this company. They are prompt to answer your enquiry & keep you informed about when they will be there. They pruned my big Silky Oak tree for me, very professional in how they remove the tree limbs & dispose of all of the mess they create. They’re very hard working & they work as a team, very friendly. I was greatly pleased by the result, now I feel safe that some of the limbs won’t fall on the house, they also offer you the mulch from the pruning. I certainly will use them again when needed & I will be letting people know if they need a tree trimmed or removed I’d definitely give there number. Thanks again for the great job.
Paul, Caleb and the boys from "Your Local Tree Guy" removed four trees from around our pool area today(without falling in ;)...they did an absolutely brilliant job.
